Digital health refers to the use of information technology/electronic communication tools, services and processes to deliver health care services or to facilitate better health care. The Centre is creating a network of digital health systems to securely connect and share health information with authorized care providers across the province. These systems will enable improved patient access and health care delivery and create improved accountability, stability and efficiency in our provincial health care system.
